I, as the parent or legal guardian of the named entrant (who is a minor or lacks the capacity), give permission for the entrant detailed above to enter the Prime Minister’s Spelling Bee competition. I acknowledge that I have read, understood and agreed to the Terms and Conditions of the Competition of which Nationwide News Pty Ltd ABN 98 008 438 828 of 2 Holt St Surry Hills NSW 2020 (publisher of Kids News) is the Promoter. I give permission for the Promoter and its related companies (together referred to as News Corp Australia) to publish the name, age and home state of the student Entrant for whom I am completing this form. If the named student Entrant becomes a finalist or wins a prize, I give further permission for the student’s answers, which were entered into the competition, name and image to be published and, if they win the overall grand prize, for them potentially to appear on Seven Network’s The Morning Show as a 2024 Prime Minister’s Spelling Bee champion. I acknowledge and agree that this publication may be for promotional or other purposes for News Corp Australia, Harper Collins and/or the Seven Network and may occur in any News Corp Australia publications whether in print or digital media (including social media channels). I give permission for my contact details to be given to News Corp Australia journalists to contact me as the entrant’s parent/legal guardian to arrange editorial coverage (news stories) about the finalists and winners.
